Ministry Plans

  • Form a leadership team to include small group leaders, persons overseeing outreach, training, service, entertainment, etc.
  • Train Christians in Dominion Valley and Heritage Hunt in outreach hospitality, personal evangelism and event follow-up.
  • Become more visible by taking active roles in the community (e.g., attend community breakfasts, board meetings, etc.).
  • Invite neighbors over for lunch, dinner, etc., in order to build deeper relationships.
  • Plan and conduct a series of outreach events in Dominion Valley or Heritage Hunt such as: a seasonal outreach (e.g., Christmas coffee); evangelistic dinner (e.g., SteakOut or Girls Night Out); or, an evangelistic concert.
  • Conduct personal follow-up as a result of the initial outreaches and begin new small Bible study groups.
  • Plan and conduct a community service project, recruiting the unchurched active adults to join with the Christians to meet a significant need in the community.
  • Begin a small group on how to mentor your grandchildren.
  • Conduct felt-need seminars in the active adult community clubhouses such as finances, relationships, community service, etc.
